What are signs my TAP Controller needs repairs?

If you are having issues with your kiln, you should begin troubleshooting by contacting your kiln manufacturer who will confirm whether or not your issue is related to your controller.

Many issues that seem controller related are actually related to other components of the kiln. Troubleshooting should always begin by contacting your kiln manufacturer. They will be able to walk you through troubleshooting and help you confirm whether the issue is related to your TAP Controller or another component of your kiln.  

The vast majority of controller-related issues can be easily resolved with simple troubleshooting. You can find troubleshooting steps for most issues in the Troubleshooting section of this FAQ. Sometimes it’s just a matter of rebooting your controller!
