All of our current controllers have integrated WiFi and automatically update when your controller is connected to WiFi. For help connecting your controller to WiFi, or rebooting your controller to force a software update, please us the following instructions:

Updating the Original TAP Controller

In 2025, we announced that we'd be sunsetting the original TAP Kiln Controller and will be no longer be releasing software updates for the original TAP.

However, you can find instructions for updating your controller to the latest software here:

Please download the appropriate software update according to your kiln manufacturer. If you purchased your controller directly from SDS Industries, download the SDS Industries user file.
